The Raymond John Wean Foundation Announces Launch of New Brand, Website

January 19, 2022 (Warren, Ohio) – The Raymond John Wean Foundation is excited to share the launch of a new brand and website, weanfoundation.org.  “This is more than a rebrand, it’s an opportunity to articulate who we are and our intentions – to provoke fresh thinking, to promote equitable community building, and to disrupt the status quo,” says Jennifer Roller, president, Wean Foundation.

Two years ago, the Wean Foundation embarked on a journey to rethink how to tell their story — what the Wean Foundation stood for and how they partner with residents and organizations to build a healthy, vibrant, equitable and economically stable Mahoning Valley.

To help revitalize their brand, the Wean Foundation sought out the expertise of branding agency, Cause, and together began a series of conversations with stakeholders, partners and residents across the Valley. The Cause team led working sessions, interviewed residents, visited nonprofits and delved deeply into what the Foundation does and why. With input from all these individuals and organizations, a strategy was developed.

The new website was created with the intention of articulating the Wean Foundation’s vision and purpose in welcoming, but unflinching terms. From applying for grants to signing up for programs, the site is designed to inform and inspire engagement with the Wean Foundation’s vision of empowered residents creating an equitable Mahoning Valley, as well as communicate the mission to advance community building in the underresourced communities of Warren and Youngstown. The site brings the Foundation’s brand and voice to life in ways that center residents and race equity inclusion.

You can visit the new website at weanfoundation.org and are encouraged to share with your community.
