The Raymond John Wean Foundation Welcomes New Staff Members

WARREN, OHIO—AUGUST 20, 2026—The Raymond John Wean Foundation announced Thursday the addition of two staff members: Marissa Price as Program Officer, Grantmaking, and Tami Kendra-Romito as Associate of Operations.

Price most recently served as Program Site Manager of the Youngstown office of Equitas Health, a statewide community healthcare system in Ohio. In that role, she led a team of social work professionals in assisting HIV+ patients, ensuring access to life-saving medication and support services. Price also brings experience in sales and community relations to the Program Officer role. A resident of Poland, Price is working toward a bachelor’s degree in public health from Kent State University, with an anticipated graduation date of 2028.

“I hope to bring energy and new perspectives to the Wean Foundation and to be a resource for communities that need support,” Price said.

Raised in Girard, Kendra-Romito spent 24 years in Los Angeles, working in administrative and program-based roles for the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, one of the country’s top-ranked hospitals. Her most recent role there was as Neurology – Neuromuscle Program Administrator, where she supervised a multi-disciplinary team of over 20 specialists. While in Los Angeles, Kendra-Romito also served on the city-appointed Women’s Advisory Board for the City of West Hollywood, bringing issues concerning women to the attention of the City Council. She returned to the Mahoning Valley in 2023.

“I’m excited to bring my organizational skill set and joy for building community to the Wean Foundation,” Kendra-Romito said.

“We’re excited to welcome Marissa and Tami to the Wean Foundation,” said President Jennifer Roller. “We look forward to Marissa being in community as a Program Officer, building relationships and learning alongside residents and partners, and to Tami representing the Wean Foundation as she welcomes and works with the many partners, vendors and community members who use our conference and incubator spaces. Their experiences, perspectives and commitment to community will be valuable as we continue advancing our mission throughout the Mahoning Valley.”
