Lowry earned her master’s in American Studies and bachelor’s in English and Linguistics, both from Youngstown State University. In addition to the Wean Foundation, she also serves on the boards of Policy Matters Ohio, the League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown and Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens.
