Wean Foundation Announces New Hire

August 16, 2022 (Warren, Ohio) – The Raymond John Wean Foundation is excited to announce an addition to its team, Kristen Pawcio, who will fill the position of executive assistant to the president. In her role, Pawcio provides advanced administrative support to the Foundation president including office administration, calendar management and board relations. She also serves as a liaison between the executive office and external partners.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Pawcio held positions in both the public and private sectors, most recently as the Director of Career Services with Stautzenberger College in Brecksville, Ohio. She holds a BA in criminal justice from Kent State University and a MS in criminal justice management and forensic science from Youngstown State University. As a graduate of Warren City Schools and resident, she brings the right amount of familiarity and skills to contribute to the Foundation’s mission.

“The Foundation has added three staff members in as many months and seeks to continue to sufficiently staff its grantmaking, capacity building, convening and partnerships and operations, states Jennifer Roller,” president of the Wean Foundation. “Creating opportunities to support viable solutions and the sustainability of nonprofits calls for an investment in human capital – in this case, our own talent and capacity.”
