May 31, 2022 (Warren, Ohio) – The Raymond John Wean Foundation announces the addition of Erika Parker to their team in the newly created position of Communications Officer. In her role, she will be responsible for sharing the stories of the Foundation and its grantees with the community.
Parker comes to the Wean Foundation with over 17 years of nonprofit experience, most recently as the Marketing Director with Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries. She is a resident of Warren and graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Advertising & Public Relations.
“As a lifelong resident of Warren and someone who went to college and worked in Youngstown for many years, I am excited to be working for an organization who is helping to build up these communities that mean so much to me,” says Parker. “I am looking forward to doing my part to shine a light on all of the good work being done in the Mahoning Valley by these organizations and the Foundation.”
