WARREN, OHIO—MAY 20, 2026—The Raymond John Wean Foundation today announced three events on Thursday, July 16, to highlight neighborhood revitalization efforts in Warren and Youngstown, bring residents together and celebrate community. Individuals can register for a guided bike tour through either Warren or Youngstown from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Both tours will conclude at Avon Oaks Ballroom in Girard, where riders and community members alike can enjoy a free public Night Market from 5 to 9 p.m. The Night Market will feature local vendors, handmade goods, produce, food, music and more.
Bike tour participants will hear directly from community leaders and residents about the work underway to strengthen neighborhoods and improve quality of life.
“The bike tours are an opportunity to see first-hand the progress happening in our neighborhoods and engage more deeply with the people leading that work,” said Wean Foundation President Jennifer Roller. “We also wanted to create a welcoming community gathering where residents can support our region’s small businesses, celebrate creativity and make connections through the Night Market.”
The Wean Foundation has partnered with Thrive Mahoning Valley and YoGo BikeShare to provide riders with electric bikes and helmets. There is no cost to participate in the bike tours, but space is limited. The Wean Foundation encourages community members to register early. Registration will close once all spots are filled, or no later than June 26. Riders must be at least 18 years old to participate.
Participants can indicate their preferred tour route upon registering at weanfoundation.org/partner-for-change/#events.
No registration is required to attend the Night Market. Vendors interested in participating can apply at weanfoundation.org/partner-for-change/#events.
These events are presented by the Wean Foundation and made possible through collaboration with residents, businesses and community organizations, including the cities of Warren, Youngstown and Girard, Excalibur Barber, Intentional Development Group, Thrive Mahoning Valley, Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership, the Warren Farmers Market, YoGo BikeShare and Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corp.
